Here's Sydney and Grandma weighing and bagging up stew.
The grinder doesn't look like much but that's a 1 horse power motor attached and nothing slows it down! It's the first time we've used this grinder and it worked like a dream. Hubby put the whole system together and it turned out great, can you believe the grinder came with a wooden handle for "manual" operation? Yeah, right...
We ground up about 15 pounds at a time, weighed it into 1 1/2 pound measurements, bagged it, and then put it in the freezer.
There is a large box of bones & scraps on my porch that the neighbour has asked for and they will be delivered tomorrow, in the meantime, this guy seems to be enjoying them.

Boy, howdy your girl knows how to work. Way to help grandma -- with a smile on her face, even.
Your kids are so cool. And so lucky.
Lots of hamburger Lots of work to eh....
Wow! That is a lot of meat to grind up! Our side (thankfully) comes all cut, bagged, and labeled. All we have to do is pick it up and sort it into the freezer. And then of course, enjoy it all winter.
