Crashed

Well it finally happened, I crashed and burned, I've had a bad cold for about a week now, or maybe it's the flu? Whichever it is I haven't felt very good. Yesterday, after my Mom left for home, I said to heck with everything and hit the couch. I slept most of the day, thinking I will feel better tomorrow. Well that was today, and although I felt a bit better, I hit the couch and then bed and again slept most of the day away. I did manage to haul out the vacuum this morning, as company was coming later today, but then slept the whole time the company was here (sorry Al). Thank goodness Hubby & Grandma had a huge bonfire outside for the kids so the house was fairly quiet. So here I sit at 10:45 PM, wide awake, with Jevan telling me all about his day and determined not to go to bed until I do. It's not often I sleep during the day, or get so sick that I have to, I find nothing gets done, the house falls into shambles, and then when I do feel better there's the huge list of make-up stuff to be done that gathered up when I couldn't do it. Well I guess it's back to the grindstone tomorrow, did you all change your clocks back?

A comical picture I took back in 1998, the very last picture taken with my old film camera before switching to digital. What was the last picture you took?

I'm guessing my last pre-digi photos are of our family vacation to San Diego over 3 yrs ago. I'm guessing because I haven't developed that roll just yet!

Sorry to hear about you feeling poorly. It was good that you were able to get a bit of rest. And I know exactly waht you mean about the mess piling up around you while you lay languishing in piles of kleenex. Bill MAY do a few dishes, but that is about as far as it goes.
I hope you are feeling 100% soon. But don't over do it, or you will end up back in bed.

I hope you are feeling better today and that it doesn't take too long to get caught back up! It sure doesn't take long for the house to fall apart when we are away or sick does it?!
