I also snapped a picture of the plant food I use on all my plants. The instructions say to use 7 drops but I just squeeze one dropper (about 14 drops) into about a gallon or so of water. It really makes a world of difference! I've used it for years and you can pick it up at any Wal-Mart.

Good news, bad news
The good news is the washer appears to be working again! (Doing the happy dance!) The bad news; I have to keep turning the taps on and off, on and off, on and off.... I mean can I ever trust it again? The repairman called yesterday, and after describing what happened, he is still going to come and replace two parts, but he can't get here for about 10 days. All I can say is thank goodness the thing is working because ten days without a washer would leave me a mountain of laundry that I may never get out of. I guess we could all be like my son Jevan and stay naked, because, when you think about it, "nakedness is nature's way of taking care of laundry." I'm not sure how well that would go over at the office though. :)
Just a quick update on the Luffa. I think these will be okay for another month but I just may have to build a trellis in the window!

At least you can use the machine. When we first got ours, it was a week after we we expecting it, so I had a pile of laundry, then it wouldn't spin dry. We had to wait another couple of days, but I did get some done by pushing the spin button and doing some other things. It was a balance thing that had to be set. It has been working for the last 2 years really well.
Your plants look great. Wonderful you found something that works well. For mine, right now they need sun. The sun finally shone today after about 5 days of cloud.
Hi Kansas....
Hope you had a good b-day. I haven't been to your blog in...well a LONG time! You make me want to blog again.
I had no idea just how crafty & 'naturistic?' you were....I'm jealous lol...can I move in with you? Would love a simpler life!!
I'm thinking your "office" is still a little chilly this time of year! And I can relate to being thankful that an appliance is mostly working (dryer in my case) as opposed to not working at all.
And the luffas are really growing. A LOT! Have fun with them.
Boy, you can grow things good. I'll have to see if I can find some of that plant food around my place.
