Today I was sitting and waiting for two muskrats to appear at the upper pond. They were there when we first showed up and I managed to get one picture but they quickly disappeared.
I sat for an hour, even changing my locations a few times but they never came back. I took a few pictures of the reflection in the water.
Yesterday Pops tried out the “new” potato harvester. Hubby worked for two days to get it modified to hook up to a tractor instead of a horse but it still has some kinks that need to be worked out.
I converted a picture to make it look really old, it didn’t take much because it is really old. 
The patent on it says 1906 and it was made by the “Canadian Potato Machinery Co.”
Coming back from the Horn Field I stopped at the pond and took some pictures of the ducks, these ducks were born and raised on the Ranch. Mini, our new puppy, was with me and when she saw the ducks she hightailed it right back to the house!

You do realize you've become a professional photographer, right??? Those DUCKS. Are GORGEOUS. Time to hang out your shingle and start contracting with National Geographic.
Even w/o you making the potato harvester over in B&W, it looks ooold. And awesome. Just thinking back to the forefather people, inventing all of that, makes me feel like we've lost a little something, here in the present. I would have ZERO idea how to do something like that. But then, they do say that necessity is the mother of invention; when it's NECESSARY for me to figure out how to get bushels of potatoes out of the ground, I'm going to be so RIGHT on that... ;)

I do wonder why you put your things on Facebook, though. If you wish to own your photography, it's insane: you're giving it to Facebook by putting it up there. Literally - they own it, since you've put it there.
My hubby loves the potato harvester. He had seen similar pieces of equipment, but had no idea what they were used for - now he knows!
Mini sounds about as brave as my Sookie, who is afraid of the dark.
Awesome pictures! I love the old potato harvester and the pond shot is great. It makes me chuckle to think of Min hightailing it for home.
