What's going on...

Yesterday the chicken coop was finally cleaned out. Well not for the first time ever, but for the first time this year. And the best thing?? I didn't have to do it! My brother (city kid) has been staying with us and he volunteered (can you believe it??) It all started out good but I don't think he realized just what kind of a job he was getting himself into. :) Here's the start....right through to the finish.

Heeeey this is easy!

Kinda smelly in here, isn't it?

Only 20 wheelbarrows left to go :)

So while he was out shoveling sh*t...I was inside relaxing with a coffee, and looming up a pair of Scruffie Slippers :) I'm almost finished the second one...and they are the cutest pair so far. A description will have to do because I'm just too darn lazy exhausted to grab the camera and snap some pics, but I'll update with a picture tomorrow. Anyway...they are cream colour with a very colourful fun fur cuff.
As for my brother...I wonder what other jobs he'll volunteer for??

He looks so happy and enthusiastic in all the pictures, hehehe. Did you loom him a pair of slippers too? I think he deserved a pair or two after cleaning the coop.
