What's going on...

Yesterday the chicken coop was finally cleaned out. Well not for the first time ever, but for the first time this year. And the best thing?? I didn't have to do it! My brother (city kid) has been staying with us and he volunteered (can you believe it??) It all started out good but I don't think he realized just what kind of a job he was getting himself into. :) Here's the start....right through to the finish.

So while he was out shoveling sh*t...I was inside relaxing with a coffee, and looming up a pair of Scruffie Slippers :) I'm almost finished the second one...and they are the cutest pair so far. A description will have to do because I'm just too darn lazy exhausted to grab the camera and snap some pics, but I'll update with a picture tomorrow. Anyway...they are cream colour with a very colourful fun fur cuff.
As for my brother...I wonder what other jobs he'll volunteer for??
