Wow I didn't know so many of you would be interested in Sydney's hat! Yes I made it, I actually made it last year based on this pattern using the knifty knitter round looms. I didn't follow her instructions exactly such as: at the "first ear flap" I counted 9 pegs to the left and not 6. I also made the flaps on a different loom and then transferred them. On both earflaps I knit 7 rows even, instead of 5. And the last thing is the i-cord instructions for the loom in pdf format can be found here: http://www.loomknit.com/instructions1.html
I've made this hat much smaller for Jevan, as well as an extra large for my older sister Biffy and both turned out fine.

My kids are jealous of your kids! You have been really busy posting and I have been really busy not reading, but weaving instead. And yesterday I FINALLY got a little something in the mail to you. I hope that it finds it's way to you through all the ice and snow.
I remember doing that and my kids during the same when we lived in Mich. Have you made the snow ice cream yet this year?

Poor kid. Good thing she's eating that and not having it bonk her on the head...
I find myself wishing I had that hat - or one like it, but with larger ear-flaps!
